Located on the Place de la Libération, built by Intendant d’Etigny and inaugurated in 1777, it houses a splendid Italian style theatre, which decorations were paid for by the Intendant himself.
The Salle des Illustres is a room in which are displayed the portraits of illustrious people from the Gers, who over centuries, distinguished themselves in the army, magistracy, politics, medicine or in literature.
The meetings of the municipal council and receptions take place there.
