St Mary’s Cathedral (15th – 17th centuries) A major site on the route to Santiago de Compostela designated on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
It is one of the most recent cathedrals in France but also one of its vastest and richest: over 100 m long and 40 m wide with 2 towers 44 m high framing the superb Renaissance façade. Started in 1489, its construction took 200 years.
