Pavie
A Gallo-Roman villa named Spartacus gave its name to the first city: ‘Esparsac’. A fortified town followed in 1281 built jointly by the Earl of Astarac, Philip the Fair and the Abbey of Berdoues. Gaston of Foix took over the town in 1444.

Do not miss the 13th century bridge listed national heritage, the town hall (1890), the chapel of our Lady of Cédon which has become a place of pilgrimage following the Plague in 1631…
